Thankfully, winners are more than grinners.
Fremantle Dockers fans have (at last) had some good news.
Their captain, and a darn fine player to boot, just blitzed the rest of AFL’s elite to win his second Brownlow Medal.
And if they could bring themselves to watch, even the most one-eyed West Coast Eagles fans would have to admit one thing: Nat Fyfe made a mightily impressive acceptance speech.
He’s not, of course, alone.
Around about the same time, on the other side of the pond, Peter Dinklage (aka Game of Throne’s Tyrion Lannister) was doing likewise – this time for receiving his fourth Emmy Award.
And a couple of months ago, Tiger Woods, the one-time serial winner, could hardly be effusive enough on his win at the Masters and his hitherto unthinkable return to golfing greatness.
So what exactly is it that ties these, and most other illustrious winners, together?
Quite simply this.
Award-winners are always quick to recognise the input others have had in their success.
You know the kind of thing. “I wouldn’t be here without my teammates, my parents, my manager, my family.” Etc, etc.
Which brings us, quite nicely, to the theme of this week’s posting.
You see, Ventura Home Group is a multiple award winner too. Since it began in 1993, in fact, the Group has won numerous awards every year, making us WA’s most awarded builder.
Just like the Nat Fyfe and Tigers of the world, these awards are testament to our overriding dedication and passion to be ‘best of the best’ in everything that we do.
That’s why it is particularly pleasing to be acclaimed not only for our outstanding quality as a builder, but in a host of other equally important areas too – including design, affordability, and customer service.
Modesty forbids, but we have in fact won over 1,000 industry awards. And yes, we have made many very happy acceptance speeches too.
And in every one of those speeches, you can bet every single recipient said much the same thing.
Thanks to our staff. Thanks to our suppliers. Thanks to our tradies. Thanks to our customers.
Thanks, in fact, to everyone involved in every aspect of building a Ventura Home Group home.
Because we wouldn’t be here without you and your loyal support.
